History

Life in New York City

Michelangelo began life as a regular, run-of-the-mill turtle. He was chosen by Baron Draxum as part of a project to create super warriors, meant to destroy humanity and help make youkai the rulers of the upper world. The project was destroyed by Lou Jitsu, the human it was being based off of, and Mikey, along with the other three turtles, were taken away with him in his escape. The four turtles began to develop human characteristics and Lou, who began to change as well, took it upon himself to care for them and raise them as his sons. He trained them all in martial arts (mostly through endlessly watching his movies) though he did not tell his sons his true identity for the majority of their lives.

Mikey is the youngest of four brothers and also the most energetic (which is saying something). He is playful, lighthearted and creative. He has an intuitive nature which lets him not only learn and adapt to things quickly, it also allows him to read other people and get a feel for their problems. He loves art of all kinds, music, dancing and cooking. He also has a gremlin streak a mile wide and a bit of a temper. Anyone who uses his cheerful and helpful nature against him or as a reason to baby him will quickly be met with one of his fiery (and rather scary) alter egos. He is ever positive in his outlooks and has unwavering faith not only in himself but in his entire family. Even when things are at their most grim, Michelangelo never gives up and encourages everyone around him to do the same.
